In my artwork, I love to play with variations in the thickness of paint to create mood and texture. It's not unusual for the background in my art to draw the eye in as much as the foreground, and I never tire of creating thousands of shades of the same colour! My work combines bold, dramatic hues with simple shapes and lines. Many who have appreciated my art have commented that not only do I adore circles (I do!), but also that my work is simply... happy.

I am excited to explore both these media and continue to develop my voice.

I am a Fergus, Ontario–based ceramic artist and art psychotherapist whose practice explores creativity as a pathway to healing. Working in stoneware and porcelain, I create intuitive, tactile forms inspired by nature, seasonal change, and the emotional textures of everyday life. My ceramics feature layered glazes reflecting an interest in colour, chemistry, and alchemy. My most recent work integrates neurographic art as graphic surface exploration on clay, translating subconscious line and form into ceramic expression. I am a graduate of the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, exhibit in regional juried shows, and contribute to initiatives such as Empty Bowls.

I am an intuitive artist working out of my studio in St. Jacobs, Ontario. In the spontaneity of the unknown, I love the painting process of moving pigments, making marks, and building layers until something alive shows up! My art is fully rooted in the beauty and wonder of nature. Presently, I am exploring new media, including inks and organic materials.

I am a Conestogo-based sketch artist who began sketching in 2018; I discovered urban sketching in 2019, and have since sketched hundreds of buildings and structures while developing my own whimsical style. I'm especially intrigued with older buildings and like to learn about all the lives they've lived.
Since 2020 I've published 6 books, sold thousands of prints, stickers, card games and other sketch-related merchandise, participated in studio tours, art markets, and hosted my own pop up shop.
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with local businesses and completing numerous commissions. Above all, I have created relationships with many wonderful people along the way.

I am a Chilean visual artist trained at the School of Arts at Universidad ARCIS. Since 2019 I have lived in Canada, where I have collaborated on mural projects with artists such as Philip Cote and exhibited at spaces including Superwonder Gallery, Casa Maíz, and the Hispanic Canadian Heritage Council in Toronto. I currently live in Kitchener, where my practice moves between figurative painting, illustration, and other mediums.
My work looks at everyday life through humor and subtle irony, exploring absurd situations, quiet discomforts, and intimate moments of human experience. I frequently incorporate unconventional materials —such as band-aids— referencing skin, small wounds, and acts of repair.
While I also work in larger scale, my interest in small formats is deeply connected to my own biography. Migration and a nomadic way of life led me to reduce the size of my works so they could travel with me. Working in miniature therefore emerged not only as an aesthetic approach, but as an organic adaptation to a life shaped by movement.

Since retiring from a 30-year teaching career, I spend more time in my studio, painting intuitively and letting each piece unfold in its own way. My work has been shown in galleries and group exhibitions, and I’ve enjoyed participating in live painting events within my community.

I am a Waterloo-based visual artist and founder of SamArtisan, a brand rooted in storytelling, femininity, and emotional expression. Working primarily in oil painting, I create intimate portraits inspired by literature, strong female characters, and real women who embody resilience, vulnerability, and quiet power.
My artistic journey began in childhood and evolved through immigration, motherhood, and years of balancing creativity with practicality. Alongside my studio practice, I have worked as an art educator, teaching and mentoring others as a way to stay deeply connected to the creative process. Over time, my personal work grew into a sustainable creative business. My art is collected worldwide.

I am a wood artist living and designing out of my home studio in Elmira, Ontario. I create intricate geometric art with reclaimed woods. What began as a simple hobby quickly sparked a passion for transforming forgotten wood into art that feels refreshing and alive. My work is inspired by my travels and love for patterns and designs I find in architecture and nature. Each piece I create is a reflection of sustainability and renewal and celebrates the beauty within nature's imperfections.

I write to process life, the only way I know to engineer my emotions before they grow teeth. I call my work two truths and a lie, blending fiction and fact until my business with a feeling feels finished. It started a decade ago as amateur rambling, turned into a job, and then - at some point - into poetry. My work is mostly memoir-leaning, sometimes poems, an occasional story, usually funny, and always me exaggerating existential observations. Words have been both alibi and refuge. Before I knew it, I started a poetry page and now enjoy Open Mics (they also get me validation from friends and family, which I count twice).
With Tiny Ass, I sit as a lone poet among people who make magic with their bare hands. Lending poetic appreciation to masterpieces, I bring sentences into a room full of sketches, set out like mise en place, ready to earn their place in the frame. It’s a form of storytelling I didn’t know I was waiting for.

I’m an abstract painter and textile artist based in Waterloo, Ontario. Making art makes me happy. Working across a range of media, I create abstract explorations of natural spaces shaped by memory and emotion. Themes of awe and solitude recur throughout my work, inviting viewers into a contemplative space of their own. Inspired by nature, travel, and lived experience, I’m drawn to vibrant colour, texture, and movement. My process is intuitive and immersive, allowing each piece to unfold over time and gather meaning through gesture, colour, and the emotional resonance of remembered places.
My work has been exhibited locally in Kitchener–Waterloo Society of Artists group shows, at Toronto’s Leslie Grove Gallery, Blyth’s Fabhaus Gallery & Fare, and in juried exhibitions.
